
CONSTRUCTION PROCESS

Stage 0 |
After the execution of your contract your sales counselor will order your blueprints and a site plan from the architect. These items are required when applying for a building permit. As long as plans are received and the city is running on schedule, we will start your new home within 30 days of the execution of your contract.

Stage 1 |
After permits are back from the city, the first step in constructing your new home is to grade, clear and prep your lot. Then the footings will be poured, a plumbing rough in will take place and your foundation will be poured.

|
|
|
|
Stage 2 |
The next stage in the construction of your new home is the Framing stage. In addition, shingles, roof sheathing, windows and exterior doors are also installed.
|

|
|
|
|
|
Stage 3 |
After our Project Manager has completed the frame checklist, we will proceed with the mechanical rough-in stage of your home. First is plumbing top-out, then HVAC rough, and electric rough as well as fireplace. Security wiring and Surround sound wiring (optional) follow.

|
|
|
|
Stage 4 |
At this point, multiple city inspections take place. Please keep in mind that all cities can vary in their timeframes of these inspections. Insulation will be installed and your exterior brick will be delivered.

|
|
|
|
Stage 5 |
Sheetrock installation and tape/bed occur by this point. Along with wall and ceiling texture.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Stage 6 |
Your personal color selections are now added including exterior and interior paint, cabinets, countertops and any custom choices you have selected
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Stage 7 |
Once your color selections are installed, we are ready to begin the mechanical and electrical trim. Flooring will be laid, plumbing fixtures and lighting fixtures will be installed and your AC unit will be set.

|
|
|
|
Stage 8 |
The final selections are installed, including carpet, sidewalks and patios, and fence. All landscaping and sprinkler system is completed. The final paint touch-up is performed. Also, a final clean of the interior and exterior is done and an inspection is performed by the Project Manager as well as the Sales Consultant to confirm your home has been completed properly.

Stage 9 |
Your hardware, mirrors and shower doors are installed. A final walk-through or Homeowner Orientation takes place to ensure your home is exactly what you expected. At this point any item you feel need our attention can be pointed out. This is a very important meeting, because your Project Manager will go over future maintenance of your home and our warranty program.

Stage 10 |
Your appliances have been installed and the home is perfect, it is ready for you and your family to move in and start enjoying your new Texas Premier Home. We want to make certain you are totally satisfied and have exceeded your expectations prior to you closing.
*Once you have moved in, your Sales Consultant will be responsible for your home 30 days after your closing date, following that our Warranty Department will handle all future requests via the Warranty request form on the TPH website.
The TPH Team enjoys educating our homeowners, and we understand that most people want to learn about their new home while it is being built. However, please review the following guidelines:

- Do not visit your new home while our workers are present without being accompanied by a Tx Premier employee or representative.
- Do not visit the construction site after dark.
- Do not bring children onto the construction site under any circumstance.
